Restlessness
Another sleepless night! Is this really worth it?
The rampage from the previous day is still lingering around...what must I do.
I'm angry, I'm lost, maybe I'm dillusional.
The pain from my anger has nowhere to hide, but serves as a constant reminder that our problems still exist.
I try to distract and preoccupy my mind with other things in hope of some releif, but it is to no avail.
I want her, I need her, however I am to afraid to tell her!
What will she think of me, will she use my advances as a sign of weakness to justify that she was right!
Oh that feeling of being weak and felling demorilised is creeping up on me again.
The door opens and she appears in sight, I'm hoping she comes to me as an act of truce, but the silence is deafening
Not a word, not a whisper not an ounce of acknowledgement.
I need to pick a path, make a stance, but what shall it be?.............

Wow! another great piece this one is even better. its raw and its real! have you ever thought that maybe it is something you may have done to upset her that perhaps she thinks is a big deal and you dont? what ever the case I hope it works out for you. Make her a coffee, that should break the ice. maybe if you talk about how you feel she might not make fun of you but actually see you in a differert light than she has? it works for me :) Great write. I think the last line though could be left out for a powerful and heart provoking ending. but then again it is what it is. an expression of you and your emotions or thoughts so let it be. There is something about your writing that resonates with me. I hope you are not offended by my comments. Im just really impressed and I can drivel when that happens. Cheers SS.
