Silence comes unto me
In this wondrous world of darkness
For this I am pleased
Silence has always been a friend
Around anytime I need
Accepted in the most dire situation
But now is a time
That I must reject the silence
Sorry, my old friend
But I need to hear the cries
And soak in the answers
To life and its mysteries
So I bid thee farewell
As I lay you down in my closet
Of all things lost and forgotten
To be removed some day
In the future
When I again need you
To cover up my life
And who said SILENCE IS GOLDEN? Brilliant work!
