In my mind
There lies a palace
More magnificent
Than any other
Built with the best
Of Italian marble
Crafted by the most
Splendid builders
Adorned with Greek
Corinthian columns
And topped by a
Golden, gilded dome
Endless halls
Lined with armor
And priceless paintings
From days of lore
Numberless rooms
Layed down with Persian carpets
And numberless walls
Covered with ancient tapestries
A large library,
A store of knowledge
With endless shelves
And books of all kinds
And a great ballroom
Like that of the Russian Tzars
With the best of classical symphonies
Conducted by the great masters of music
Attended by great minds
And royalty alike
Adorned with their magnificent
Pompous and splendorous uniforms
At last, the throne room
With the golden, gilded throne
Sitting cherished in the center
Wherein sits my mind
