24 hours of appreciation
A lifetime of dedication
It just doesn't seem fair
Cause as long as I can remember you have always been there
You loved me with tough love
Through all my hardships you helped me to rise above
You introduced me to Christ
All of your sacrifice was a high price
I look like you but act like my Dad
I'm thankful for the Childhood I had
Never beer or cigs in our home
Some nights you were there all alone
A strong Woman of God you are
When I need you I call you for your never too far
Mom I don't know how to express in words my gratitude
So I will do the best I can do
Sorry if I caused you any pain
For all your parenting wasn't done in vain
It was a hard lesson learned
But for your Godly example wisdom earned
