The Dawn of Midnight

In this mind of mine,
Exists a world of contradictions,
Full of madness, and order,
Surprised by nothing,
This is how I am.

Light and dark fade into one,
My mind melded with my heart,
Logic and reasoning,
Combined with emotions and arbitrary urges,
I live a life that is redefined.

Leaves fallen up, bright green,
As the dawn of midnight approaches,
When the sun rises, and all is dark,
The paradox of truth and lies fit together,
A whole that makes nothing a thing.

Chaos is order, order is chaos,
The fiery ice that leaps from the hills,
Unto the sleek roads of water,
Solid and pure, a trashed world,
The lightning strikes itself, losing itself.

The light is pure, the light is dark,
The dark is true, the dark is not a lie,
Such that it is, it isn't anything,
But a world without symbols,
And all things given a name.

Find the world that is a star,
A world so perfect,
That it cannot be standed,
Without it, you cannot exist,
And with it, you never did.

Reminds me of some of the strange things that go on in my mind too. Glad I am not the only one who has a disorderly sanity
