I crawl into bed once again

It gives forgiveness

My only friend

I stare into the dark abyss

Wondering why

[This pain won't fade]

And if it did

What would i become?

I've lied to you

Yet you cannot see

I'm pushing you away

It's better you see

Instead of bending the truth

To stop you  running from me

I'll let you go

Away from me

I lie awake

As the darkness cheats my mind

Telling it i'm asleep

Because i'm so deep

It might be true

My pain has been relieved

By the numbness inside
