From here on out, it's a new look

It's an uphill struggle

It's a downhill ride

It's the hands on your lap

The lap that should be mine

It's the hunger you feel

That you feel and fill

Filled with the image of me

I'm the pain in your belly

I'm the hard swallow you try and take

I'm the memory your tried to erase

You don't want me there

But you do

You chose another soul

Perhaps a soul with more purpose

You see something better in him

I see what you see now

The Ending
