Your words are not sticking
I'm getting away along the way... Our conversation is over but you keep speaking
Whiskey fresh on ice... It's burning my stomach more than the fire next to me
Like a country road of dialogue.. It's all looking the same and nothing is changing
How much more pain can you put a person through?
Your obsession with the truth that's made up in your mind will never be right
Lost in your own jealousy..
Find yourself before you're too late and never reappear tonight
Look for the honesty in your soul
Don't find it in me because tonight it's not there
It's not there because you've taken everything from me without notice
I understand the intent
I understand the intent behind this poem, I often admire how people can stand back and watch a situation they are apart of inthe third person. I loved the last Line it is really powerful "taken everything from me without notice". I love your strong ending packed with punch and insights! Great work cheers SS ur a great writer Fitzy I really enjoy all your work, I try to find some negative or something so that I dont sound like a broken record and show that I'm honest about what I think, but I haven't found anything negative worth mentioning yet! Lol ;) here's to your next great piece, I wonder what It will be :)
