Around that time

My glass of bourbon remninds me of you.

Laughing, kissing, feeling by the fire.

A touch so sweet but bitter I can still remember the taste.

If I could turn back time for you I wouldn’t.

I wouldn’t dare to put you through it all again.

Everyday I can still feel how hard the fall was.

And everyday I remind myself that you‘re there and I’m here.

I was making a poetic comment on your poem but I lost it with a bad internet connection. Bummer. It was kinda funny. Anyhow, you did inspired me. Darn innerweb stole the evidence.
