Sculptures Of Clay

Folder:
Love

Ever deepening sorrow, malice and hate

I never thought I'd see the day

someone would come and clean the slate

the one I was made on as a sculpture of clay.

Tears the gumdrops I cant consume

Rhymes and stories and forgotten play

Darkness resides in locked up rooms

The ones I was made in as a sculpture of clay.

Breif glimpses of happyness

Shedding light on a pale skinned hope.

I feel pressure from all sides press

On me as I am formed a sculpture of clay.

Today I am happy for all darkness is gone.

I have been set on a high place

Now I listen intently to the other songs

The songs of new beginings as sculptures of clay.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Its a story of my life as I see it. I never had much light in my life. I never really had many friends because i never stayed in one place long enoguh to keep them. Now I have more than I can handle and I love hearing about them, hence the last stanza.

Yes indeed, you may have found your light, and for that we are glad. Remember this as well: you have shined your own glowing light into the shadows of all of our live's. I suppose that's what makes us friends.
Until the end
