I just wanted to tell you how beautiful you are

and that you are more precious than any single star

I know that you never hear that from anyone as much as you need

but if you turn to me and look you will see all my words bleed

cause you are a pearl, a jewel that is made out of gold

and close to my heart is where I have you and hold

and your smile to me is like the sun rising in the sky

and every time you turn away from my love a part of me will die

I love you so much that I gave up the life of my only son

my love for you is deeper than the deepest blue ocean

my love for you cannot be expressed in words, it is outspoken

look at the marks in my hands and that is what love costs
