you say that no one understands your pain

and every day you wonder if you live in vain

you say that your sky has faded into grey

and that everything in your life has gone away

and you think to yourself that you have so much to do

and that there is no way that you'll make it through

you say that you don't have the time to pray to me at night

and that there is no way that I could undertsand your life

I walked the earth to know what it was like

to feel the pain, the lonlieness, the strife

so that I would know what you go through each day

so I could wash away your sins and give my life away

I let them torture me, kill me, crucify me, make me hurt

so remember if you think I don't understand I walked the earth



dwelling on the earth, just a dot in this world you live

don't think anything you do matters, you have nothing to give

seems like everyone is always tearing up your heart

stepping all over the pieces, ripping it apart

and you say I don't understand and wouldn't care

and you say that when you need me that I won't be there

even though I have already proved that I love you a lot

I proved my love for you on the cross or have you forgot
