if being broken was the only way to reach you I would stay broken forever and a day

if bleeding was the only way to feel you with me I would bleed every prayer that I say

if loving you meant that I would have to sacrifice all I have in this life

I would give it all up in a heartbeat to worship you and find your light

if screaming in dispair was the only way you could hear me speak

then I would make sure that when I prayed that dispair was all around me

if giving up beauty was the only way to see your face
