smooth drops on my face
in another time
another place
waves washing the sand
the tides
ever flowing, ever going
whisper
whisper
whisper
hear the speech of the wind in the leaves
trees talking
the stream laughing
animals
chittering
chattering
a heavenly flute playing
one man
sitting there
by himself
but not alone
nice poem and nice way of puting your words. I respect your belief about plants trees having souls and if that true then we have to about the one who giving it to them. nice peom I do believe animals do have spirits and souls.
You offer a window to a very gentle view of life. Thank you for the invitation to share that view. There is so much anxiety and sadness and fear in our day... this quiet calmness is precious.
thank you

I received your poem via e-mail today, and wanted you to know that I COMPLETELY agree with you on your view of nature. Beautiful poem! I also like to write about nature in my poetry--the inspiration there never ends! I wrote a poem about a cedar tree (it is not on my page yet) and my family laughed at me because I refer to the tree as though it were human. But I, like you, believe everything has a spirit as important as any human. I loved the last lines about the man sitting by himself but not alone--very intuitive way of thinking:) You spoke of a great truth simply and brilliantly. Keep writing!
beautiful, like nature!

This is a delightful poem.it is like a song of nature.I was captured by it right from the first line.
Smile.. it is the cheapest facelift.
Enjoyed this poem. It makes me want to read more of your work.
This is exactly the way i feel loved it! feel free to browse through mine.
I like the way the words drifted--kind of like leaves in the breeze. Nice feel too.

This was... beautiful... just beautiful... wow.
i think this poem has a great point of view put across in a beautiful way. i really like this poem because i agree with its theme.
At the beginning i didnt feel very captured by it and i feel some of the lines earlier on in the poem could be better, but the ending seemed so simple, yet so brilliant!!
nice poem, i liked the whole thing, even the beginning... i like the lines like "the stream laughing" because... that's what it does...
you captured the feeling of nature, and what it is really like if you go out there and just listen, without worrying about all your materialistic problems...
nice job, keep writing, and i understand how you find nature so inspirational, because i definately have written a couple poems about nature, too.
