I've got the time.... and you've got the taste
and we have no time left to waste
Come... let me fill your warm wet place
and paint a smile across your face....
You don't have a body thats perfect
Your face isn't the best to see
but much of what counts is hidden
and that's what's important to me
I don't have a body that's perfect
and my face is nothing great to show
There must be plenty of people.. More Beautiful
than us you know....
But take a chance to find out.... the things you can not see
I want to feel love and kindness
laying next to me....
show me your soul... and your deepest sea
there's a ship sailing... and together it's
WE
I like this. I could probably give you a dozen reasons why I like it, but let's just suffice it to say - it's real. It's human I have always been a believer that it is what is inside that is important. Not a lot of guys do. It's romantic and brutally erotic at the same time.
This is a great piece of poetry. It's realistic, that's a good thing.
This song is incredible, but even so, I hope you didn't share it with its inspiration. This is not exactly what a girl likes to hear. I'm not sure why. But it's comforting to know that some guys care about spirit more than looks since beauty is temporary and so fragile. I used to have beautiful eyes and now, even though I'm sober, I still look like a drunkard. It sucks. But I suppose I should just concern myself with "the things you can not see." And as to your comment at the bottom--that "Show me you Soul" is lame--I don't agree. I don't mean to sound like one of those inspirational self-help books they peddle on Oprah, but as long as your work has personal value, then it is not lame.
