The nightmare began for you
When she was so wrongly taken
One minute she lived so freely
Next minute her life was gone
Extinguished like a candle
So sudden
So young
So unfair
You get that phonecall
The one you all dread
It's the one that tells you that she's now dead
The accusations they start
The finger is pointed
The blame is thrown so wrongly about
The wrongly accused suffer so unfairly
She only did everything in her power to make her safe, to save her.
Her best wasn't good enough it seems she met you there and said her feelings and now she is guided down a dark bleak corridor to incarceration.
You cry that you lost her forever but went on to have more
But she lost 3 years
3 WHOLE years for what...
Opinion
Contradiction
Unsafe evidence
Debateable expertise
She has missed out on so many memories with those that she loves
Yes she has memories but not the ones she had hoped for
Now she is free but her name is still muddied
She walks with conviction, she knows she is innocent and she knows they are wrong.
Those who know her and love her know this.
Luckily she is supported, she isn't alone.
In her hands she holds her head to steady herself
Her world is spinning and falling away, everything she had worked so hard for... Gone in the moment the gavel smashes down
Her world ends...
Simply falls apart she can't find the air to breathe
SOMEONE HELP HER he cries as she makes noises that should never have to be heard
In her heart she holds a candle which burns bright for her innocence Those that love her hold a yellow ribbon to welcome her home
They wait so patiently till they can hold her again
They hold a candle which flickers in hope
They care for her for they know her and they know she is innocent
I hope one day they will see
The pain
The torture
The destruction they caused
Wrongly, unjustly and without cause or reason
Good luck in getting your world back together
I wish you the best
May Justice Be Done
