Ardor

Folder:
Poetry

Shadows on a starless night,
Solemn thoughts void of light,

Moonlight drifting through the trees,
The soft caress of a passing breeze,

Murmurs of thoughts gone before,
The wanton call of the troubadours,

Reflections upon the waters of night,
The gentle sough of a raven's flight,

Longings from a silent tear,
The pith of ones deepest fears,

Reveries of quiet dreams,
The serenity of a coursing stream,

Flaming passions of rampant desires,
The dying embers of a venerean fire,

Raging hungers of a roaring storm,
The subtlety of which ardor is born,

Believe that reverence is true,
For this is how I love you.

Sheri:
Your poetic brush paints a vivid picture of extreme love and desire for another that touches all hearts of those who read-who vision your intense love and desire for another. This poem touched me so very very much. Thank you for sharing Sheri. Please take care and have a very beautiful and safe weekend.
