Solitude is my companion.
It goes everywhere I go
Keeps people from getting too close.
And even if I feel like I’m fine, that my life is fine
Solitude reminds me that in reality you can’t trust anyone but yourself
Like the saying everyone for themselves.
There are days though where I can’t stand it.
Liking a person who you hope that will see through your flaws
Like you do.
But then reality kicks in.
Trusting that friends will stick by,
Having your back and be there for you.
Then they turn on you and flea,
Like you have some sort of disease once they find something they don’t like
Sometimes being in solitude is saying that life,
My life
Will always be a lonely road
