Broken,

Through these walls,

I can see,

How the rain falls,

Shaken,

No one can see,

Why I’m not well,

I’m not me,

Life changes,

Not for good,

Renew time,

Alone I’ve stood,

I’m bruised,

Just like skin,

Not outside,

But within,

I’m branded,

Labeled dead,

Still alive,

Inside my head,

I’m burning,

Empty pictures,

Erasing,

Written scriptures,

Making,

New history,

Changing,

What used to be,

All alone,

Left stranded,

I’m lost,

Empty handed.



So many years have gone by,

So few answers to my questions why,

Too many tears I have had to cry,

So many days I have wanted to die,

Still I am stranded,

So why should I try?
