Its 2 am , this dream I am stuck within ,
Lost in a maze , My memory in a haze ,
Am I awake , or am I still dreaming ,
Unsure to make of what I am seeing .

I am stuck in a place called forever woods ,
If you ever heard of it than it is understood ,
The trails run deep and forever on ,
No matter how scary I tend to keep going .

The noises from the wind ,
Makes the branches creak and bend ,
The night crawlers and creatures ,
I try to focus in on their features ,

No light to shine through from the moon ,
Wishing daylight would come soon ,
Planning each step before I take ,
I wish from this dream I would awake .

I hear a noise close behind ,
For my way out I need to find .
Unsure what it is that follows close ,
For my nerves I try to compose .

The scuffle in the dead leaves ,
Leaves my mind wanting to believe ,
That it will soon take me ,
And daylight again I will never see .

I pick up my pace and running full speed ,
A way out is all I need ,
The Woods get darker as i run ,
For I fear my life soon will be done .
