I try not to let it get to me ,
The pain, the misery, is what I see,
We go through this life standing alone ,
Where has standing together has gone .

We are supppose to stand as one ,
As one we shall be united ,
The government has split us apart ,
They screwed us right from the start .

They speak of ways to stop the turmoil ,
But the words they speak are soiled ,
The corruption that we hear everyday ,
It is sad it all I have to say .

I am tired of the promises broken ,
From all that they have spoken ,
If you vote me in , and if I should win
The right way the money will spend .

They stuff the money in their pockets ,
They ignaore the stacked dockets ,
While our people suffer ,
They send the help to another .

Their minds and hearts filled with greed ,
They send our people to war and say "God Speed"
I can understand war and helping others,
But not to steal and take from another .

They are blind to what our people need ,
They ignore the cries that our people plead .
They put us in this reccesion , in this state ,
The Govenment has taught me how hate .

Our Country is in debt ,
It is our lives they now threat ,
People will not stand alone much longer ,
Standing together will make us stronger .

This Country no longer needs ,
The corruption of our leaders and their greed ,
If the house can not stand as one ,
I am in fear this country will come undone .

We need to break free from these chains ,
And fight for the little that remains ,
Stand together as one , one for all ,
This Country will suffer great turmoil .

We need to come togther and stand tall,
If we fight for one , we fight for all .
