Love's Strength

deep within. When you think about the future, then past reflect,
If it is everything you did expect,
the past can be haunting ,
the memories all so daunting ,
The love lost, the love gained ,
Overwhelming feelings can leave you drained,
Haveing secrets can make your heart weigh a ton,
As you think of all your secrets, the wrong you have done,
They say to let go and forgive yourself,
Only then truly you will find oneself ,
You feel lost,confused and unaware,
Of the one who loves you is right their,
You look at him with shame in your eyes ,
You see he is full of disapointment and why's,
You plea with him that you are sorry for what you have done,
The tears, the screaming , the fight has begun,
You explain yourself in all detail,
As the secrets and lies start to unveil,
You beg for his love and for him to forgive,
Without you for my life I could not live,
He walks away as he begins to cry and his legs shake,
How much more of this shit do I have to take?
Becasue of this ,because of you my heart is forever broken,
I beg and I plea and become loud so he is outspoken ,
I am sorry for the pain I causeed, for the scar you now bear,
I promise never again to God I swear,
"You do not relize it will be another one to be broken,"
Because of this "my hatred you have woken,"
Please do not hate me, do not lock me out of your life,
Please lets end all of this strife,
I do love you and your love I need,
Please let us get past this let our love proceed,
He takes my hand into his and looks at me with a distant gaze,
"It is the last thing I want is for us to go our seprate ways ,"
"I forgive you for making your mistakes ,"
"We will get through this for whatever it takes,"
He says' I can not live without you ,"
and " I do not plan on doing so ,"
For you are my life, my love, my light , my heart ,
"I promise you it will take more than this to tear us apart,"
We will have mistakes in both of our lives,
For the future I see our love strong and it will survive.

What a great view into this situation I've heard this story many times in many ways and even have one myself but you have shone a light so well it highlights the most important parts of these themes in an honest and lyrical way. Thoroughly enjoyed rerelating to this piece thank you great work! SS

Thanks again I am trying to get out of the whole ryming try another writting view , but I just can not seem to have the rythem though . It is a cliche of all the ryming in all of poems but I guess it is just my style . You both have some great write , deep and flowing ...
