Sammy Lue, the Traitor
Mission: Enter Afghanistan; gouge out a bucket full
of baby eyes.
(((BOOM))) Sammy Lue detonates the bucket, leaving
the Lues so shamed, they scratch him from the family
album permanently. (((BOOM))) The photos scatter into
sky, where a hawk's beak grabs one to use for nesting.
The hawklings get drafted for a war against eagles. One,
named Sammy Lue, bites his feathers off in protest, falls
off a tree, and hits the other Sammy Lue in the head.
Sammy Lue befriends Sammy Lue. Yet, at that very
moment, a three-legged Collie approaches with a Purple
Heart pinned upon its sleeve. The Collie spits on Sammy
Lue and Sammy Lue's feet, then limps away. Sammy Lue
asks Sammy Lue, "Wasn't that the same Collie whose
brother, Sammy Lue, was sent to the pound recently
for eating his draft notice?
