I don't wanna take a trip down memory lane.

I don't think I can deal with that pain.

There's nothin I can do, nothin I can say

to bring you home to me again.



So this is what I say...

Let the future take it's course,

and maybe again someday

in time I'll be yours.



I hate knowing that I can't be with you,

but as long as you're happy then Im happy too.

We both know that I hate to lose.

I wanted to hate you, but I can't bring myself to.

If it's what God wants

I have faith we'll find the love we knew once.



But for now it's not to be...

for there's another man there now...not me.

All I rely on now is God's power.

I'll make sure to be there in His hour.

These demons Im battling won't give up,

so I'll keep fighting them even if people think Im nuts...
