Thank You (Part 2)

As I look around this world

there's a lot of sin I see.

Doesn't matter if it's a boy or girl,

or even if it's you or me.

We are all the same yet different in a way,

and each and every one of us sins everyday.

No matter how much we do or what we say,

the Lord is the only one who knows the true way,

and he is here everyday

in every way

this is what i say

because it's true.

He's always there beside me and you

trying to make us see

that He is the way, the life and the truth,

and no one gets to heaven but through Christ

not me, and not you.

So this is what i say to God the all-wise.

For everything that i have, and everything you'll give me

all i can think to say is THANK YOU tonight.

I was challenged by a friend of mine who used to be a pastor in my hometown (recently got moved to an out of town church) to write a Christian rap...now Im not rapper, but this is my attempt at that...please be honest...if you don't like it, tell me, and if you do, tell me...

I like the heart of the poem, and I think maybe with some tweaking it would be pretty good. I think the rhyming scheme is a bit erratic and crazy, where some parts are set up to rhyme at certain intervals and others not. It really is good, it just needs some work on the flow, if you know what I mean. ((((HUGS))))
