As they were running to the emergency room,

she was crying to him

"Honey I'm glad I could do this for you,

and we'll get through this, in the end."

Standing there, watching her pulled away,

he wept, and then he started to pray...



Oh Lord, please be there for her

I don't know what to do.

I don't care if it's a boy or a girl,

because that's up to you,

and I know that whatever you do

it will always be right.

She knows you are watching Lord,

so please be with her tonight.



5 years later, on that very same night,

a little boy began to pray.

"Dear Lord please be with my momma,

she said to pray to you everyday."

His daddy was watching from the hall,

and he fell to his knees and said



Oh Lord, please be there for him

I don't know what to be.

I don't care if he runs and plays,

because that's what he needs,

and I know that whatever you do

it will always be right.

He knows you are watching Lord,

so please be with him tonight.



20 years later that little boy was grown...

it was his wedding day.

His Father embraced him,

and said, "Son I don't know what to say..."

but his son interrupted, saying "It's alright

because you're here and momma's watchin

from above the stars tonight."

The old man walked out of the room,

and finally his son prayed...



Oh Lord, please be there for him

I know just what to do.

I don't know if he'll live or die,

but I have faith in you.

I know that whatever you do

it will always be right.

We both know you're watching Lord,

so please be with us tonight.

I can see the wonderful things

that you've done through my whole life,

and I know that you're there

with momma watching tonight.

So I have just one thing to ask

the same I have asked all my life.

Whatever happens to us Lord...

please be there for us tonight...
