Lord here I am again.

I'm just a broken man

who's clinging to life

in this world full of pain.

You know what I want,

but the question remains.

How do I survive

when all I see is rain?

I cling to the cross!

He'll never turn me away!

Even through all of my sin and my shame!

I cling to You Lord

My face is on the floor.

I need You now

more than ever before.

Is it the same story again?

Do I just wait to lose to past sins,

or will I survive

to be finally let in?

I'm a different man now. 

I've got to show somehow

that the sins of my past

are not the man I am now. 

Please don't leave me out. 

I cling to the cross!

Please don't turn me away!

Even through all of my sin and my shame!

I cling to You Lord

My face is on the floor.

I need You now

more than ever before.

I'm praying to You now.

Please take Your hands and reach out, 

and lift me up off the floor!

I'm praising to You now

with my arms stretched out.

Oh Lord, please don't close the door!

I cling to the cross!
