Nobody but Somebody
Feelin it today.
Something's in my head.
Some kinda way
since I got out of bed.
Nothin to stop the way I feel.
No way to calm my fears.
Goin down that road.
Fighting all the way.
I don't really know
how I'm gonna make it through today.
No one to hold me tight.
No one to care for me tonight!
It feels like I'm nobody,
but I know I'm somebody.
Nobody seems to be there.
I just wish somebody cared.
So feeling like I'm a nobody,
but I'm really somebody.
I just can't get out
of this hell in my mind.
I've gotta find a way, somehow
to take back control of my life!
I just want to mean something real to someone.
I don't feel like I mean anything to anyone.
It feels like I'm nobody,
but I know I'm somebody.

So feeling like I'm a nobody,
but I'm really somebody.

You reach so many people with your poems
You have a unique Godgiven mission, in my opinion,
that no one else can fulfill.
