I lie here...in the quiet stillness of a cold winter day

Another one has gone by

Is there a meaning...You are the way.

I know this in this heart of mine...

So alive and yet strangely inactive

I hear the music in the background

The Scorpions "Here I Am" is what it is

Will You send me an angel...Lord? 

Or have you closed that door.

It feels like I'm standing in the eye of the storm

Singing and electric guitars all around

I know You'll answer on Your time

I believe You cherish this life of mine!
