Upon you mind
If I am fine
The thought upon my heart since that day
Living life in this way.

Deep in your thoughts
Will I do it today
Will I cut myself away?
Away from reality
Away from that sense of ability
Will I break the ties
That keeps the light in my eyes
Will I soon fall to the ground
Without a sound
Lay there motionless
With my eyes tearless
And my mind nearly thoughtless
One thing repeated again and again.
With you cowering over calling dad for the Rover
Maybe things will be better this way
And I’ll finally see you happy today,
