My name tattooed

on your body,

you shall never forget

this face,

you shall never gloss

over the fact  that I once loved

you,

you can deny your past,

you can deny your mistakes,

you may move on to others

but you shall never forget who

I am

because deep down you know you 

still love me.

Once you have been marked

by the beast, 

and once you have sold your soul

to me and have denied me

I will always be a part of you

Because my love will never whither away,

this fire cannot be quenched, 

though you are long gone,

I will still burn for you.

Though you no longer see me

and no longer hear me

though you no longer want me

and no longer touch me

I will always love you.

Because, I  love

I hate also

and because of this I shall never forget

how you denied your lover

in his darkest hour

and left him to burn in his own inner inferno forever
