left out
in the middle of knowhere:
an aimless desert
with no food, no clothes:
nothing
The ground, heated with
hell, walking across
that burning marle,
as feet begin to blister,
Barely any strength to muster,
the light an unforgiving glare,
the trepidation of a certain death,
nothing but sand in every direction.
Thirsty; swirling spit in the throat,
not an even a prickly pear to fool with,
shrinking, suffocating as hot air fills
the lungs like a balloon.
Beginning to lose consciousness,
staggering, struggling to continue,
seeing apperations, old lovers, long dead;
disappointment, a last thought to ponder
Falling to the ground, sand catching the impact,
staring directly at the sun, its blinding light,
one last glimpse until eternity.
eternity is eternity but time
eternity is eternity but time is always in the know
