Losing You

The alarm sounds, and I wake without you.
You're nowhere to be found; that's a feeling I'll have to get used to.
I'll search for some peace of mind, remembering a beautiful piece of time when I was yours and you were mine.
I want to hear your voice say I'm forever yours. And I want to feel your arms around me forever more. I'll wrap mine around you—forever secure.
With or without you: which bleeding kills me first? Both succeeding, putting my heart down in a black hearse...But I need to know which hurts you worse.
I put you through hell when apart and together. "Even if the skies get rough" became too much weather, tossing us in the wind, weightless like a feather.

I would much prefer someone who cared enough to put me through

Hell than was too easy to be around, I'd rather learn something am overcome then not grow and succumb! Great verse! Wonderful Work! Cheers SS
