You know the feeling when your eyes swell up
You can literally feel as the tears start to form
You try so hard to hold them back
But it's so overwhelming, like the rain in a storm
You can't see right, your vision gets blurry
You watch as liquid gathers beneath
Tears pile up and your nose starts running
And finally you give up and just have to release
You let out a groan and after a moan
You snuff up a little to do it again
You wipe them away and use many tissues
And don't know how you will ever amend
You bury your head into a pillow
Or something nice and soft that is close by
You know it hurts, but you know it helps
To release all emotion and breakdown and cry
you write beautifully and this poem is completely right.
