There you are laughing at me again

So this is how you show that we're just friends

A joke about my look and a shot to my esteem

But still you remain the girl of my dreams

For what it's worth I still like your beautiful eyes

I guess this would come as a bit of a surprise

I try to show a little more affection towards you

But your actions and your feelings make me fade to blue

Just a little less happy than I was before

I don't wanna feel this dreaded pain anymore

Make fun of me I guess it's your intention

It's better than not showing me any of your affection

If anything is still brewing in you, I hope you'll see

And give yourself the chance to open up to me

(Like you have before)
