It hurt when I said those lies

But not as much as when

I found out you were lying too

Looking back, imagine the irony

Of all those words wasted on "I love you"

Only to be followed by another lie

I love you too

For two months we walked this imaginary path

While looking at each other we lost our way

But when we woke up

You found yourself

And then you found someone else

I found what "Love is"

And the only truth you ever gave me

...I'll never know what I meant to you
