You left me to wither
Wither in decay
Frigid silence
Overtakes my flesh
I grow cold under fallen leaves
In the outskirts of a lovely city
I think of you, I adore you, I love you
Your eyes, blinding
Like two silver moons
Reflecting over a lake
Rippling for an eternity
Your halo, a golden sun
A reflection of our days
Incandescent future, luminous past
The amorphous present
I dreamed in indigo
Of an unseen chasm between us
Unknowing, we swim in circles
Upstream, the clouds thicken
The oceans churns, the earth trembles
In this fever, this notorious litmus test
Reads blue, we are neutral
Though the acidity burns me
So thoughtlessly and carelessly
I canvass the pages
Of this torn booklet
Written by the worn out fingers
Of fast and fading ghosts
