One friday we had a football game
The first football game
Of the season, to be exact
My friend and I
Were goofing off as usual
And we invented a holiday
A holiday that would be celebrated
Every friday to come
Or at least until the season was over
We would talk in British accents
Just for the hell of it
We make up new words
Like bogansnaufer
The days of our Britishnish
Go way back
Months before the holiday was decided upon
There was a day of the accent
At a relay which continued the next day
To an amusement park
Then there was the greatest times
At the camp of band fags
Where we stayed up
Playing the game of Uno
And I sipped a cappucino
And we talked in the British
Scaring our hot "lovers"
But having a great time
One day we shall have tea
On British day
With those little
Cubes of sugar
Until then
Every friday shall be called
British Day
Where we talk in our accents
To amuse us: The Unamused
Cute poem...but I have to say...what are ''British'' accents?...Britain in england, wales and scotland...I am assuming you mean ''queen'' like accents...which nobody over here has.
Just a thought.
