The Game of Life

Folder:
Life

You roll the dice

Unaware of where you will go

It's a chance you have to take

Then you follow the road

Filled with obstacles

You don't want to go back to start

Or to the end, quite yet

You gain

You lose

You develope a personality for this game

It will stick with you

Whether you cheat or play by the rules

Cheaters never get anywhere

But if you play by the rules

You're perfect

Which isn't right

No one's perfect

Or has the right to be

Sometimes you'll roll doubles

And hit the jackpot

Other times

You'll go down

In the end

There's the winners

There's the losers

You pick early what you'll be

Heyy Erica... I haven't been to your site in awhile.. so I figured I would stop by and see if ya had anything new.. and from the date on this, it's not so new, but I like it a lot. It's really good. =) I am so sorry about everything that went on earlier in the year. I'm just really.. fucked like that. But anyway, I'm sorry.. and your poems are great. All of them. Keep writing. =)
