I am the soldier of the night.

I am the one who is willing to stand and fight.

I am the one who has seen another soldier been dragged of into the dead of night

 never again to be able to fight.

I am the one who has wasted my whole life on useless and unwinable fights

 in hope that it would all end one night

 but as the days grow short and the nights

 grow long the hope i once had as all but gone.
