Will some one,
Be really able,
To understand the real me?
Some friends say:
"You 're a mystery,
"Deep and unfathomable".
My mother,
and my late father,
Failed in really knowing me.
Please listen,
All of you out there:
I am nothing but a man.
But my goal,
Is different than yours:
I know about true happiness.
Knowing this,
I crave peace and love,
Not sudden U-turns of moods.
Love for me,
Is not pretenses,
And not just a carnal bond.
I can give,
I can sacrifice,
All my leisure hours for 'you'.
'You' cannot,
Do the same for me,
"Xo-Xo" is not love for me.
You hurt me,
You rebuke me too,
Yet I bear it patiently.
And yet you,
Say you care for me,
You often negate yourself.
Trapped in your,
Own uncertain world,
You play hide and seek with me.
Well my love,
Let's see if you can,
Rise above the ordinary.
Can you fill,
The emptiness within,
Can you, O my beloved one?
Each dark night,
Threatens me with its,
Fiery and devouring fangs.
It's my faith,
In my God Almighty,
Which enables to greet dawns.
O my love,
Are you too like them,
Those who define me darkly?
My keen sight,
Has seen through the lies,
Which mark this world of falsehood.
Yet, I wait,
To see, if you can,
Unravel the depth that's me.
Yes, I wait,
O, my beloved one:
For you to accompany me.
Love is blind,
Or so it is said,
But true love can conquer me.
So, tell me,
Can you emerge out,
From your self-imposed
Inhibitions and join me?
You assert,
That you really love me,
Yet...back off... by blaming me...
...And calling me crazy!
