Quakes, tsunamis,
Striking with full force,
Yet only a few turn to God.
When will this age,
Learn the grim lessons,
Being repeated by history?
Self-destroyed,
Are many among us,
The sins keep multiplying.
Come O heart,
Let us seek that place,
Where goodness thrives and souls grow.
You and I,
O my caring friends,
Are misfits in today's world.
We must go,
And replenish life
As we seek tranquility.
Idealists?
Perhaps we are but,
It is we who weep and pray!
