To tackle dangers

With God on my side

And all your prayers.

When you see the stars

Playing with the moon

Think that I shall

Be with you soon.

When you listen to songs

On your way home

Think of me then

I 'll not be alone.

But whatever happens

This truth do remember

That my manly love

Is yours... forever.
