O how pretty is my loved one!
O how pretty is my loved one!
Indeed God has made her
Of her ilk the only one...
So pretty is my loved one!
When she lifts her modest eyes
The sun's dazzle falls pale
When her scarf slips off her head
Mother Nature is in a daze
So pretty is my loved one!
Some angels would have
Simply lost their repose and calm
When they were told by God
To make one of unrivalled charm.
And many a rose would have sighed
While giving life to her red lips
And Venus would have been jealous
When she was being made thus.
Her gait often does make
The rest of the world breathless
Her charm is too much for words
Her dainty ways are matchless
So attractive is my loved one!
When she stops for a while
In the midst of her walks
Spring too often pauses
Just to marvel at her grace
The great Creative Artist
Kept his deft brush aside
For He decided there would be none
Like my attractive loved one.
