When the worldly sky is darkest
Even on a waning 15th moon
I spend some time with the stars
Dimly lit but all near and far.
And we speak in our own silent ways
Talking of secrets witheld in space
For the time being.
And I meet many sages and saints
And beautiful maidens and handsome knights
Revelling in the tranquility
Which slowly hushes in announcing dawn
Coming in with all its soothing blue mantle.
I love the time spent thus
Under the unending canopy spread above...
And I know
Like those I meet and talk with daily
That I and my lady love
Will also one night to Pleaides go
And look at this earth from high there, above.
