THE INHERITORS

Full moon stares

At a world where

Nothing is as it used to be.

Values, virtues, decency,

All becoming obsolete,

And beastly materialism,

Is preparing the cauldron,

For many to be devoured.

Earthquakes and Tsunamis,

Are warnings,

For one and all.

Eden lies vacant,

And the prophets and saints,

Shed tears high above,

As Satan rubs his hands in glee.

God Almighty gave us the choice,

To be guided and walk aright,

On the path to true success.

Yet most of mankind,

Is possessed,

And the angel of doom,

Gets ready to blow the trumpet,

When good and bad will reap,

What all that has been sown.

My heart's rhythm feels,

The reverberations of bygone time,

And the constellations hover overhead,

As silent witnesses to the chaos,

Which the seed of Adam and Eve,

Has caused in God's wise plans.

And Pegasus strides,

Onwards to a better epoch,

Where the righteous,

Will inherit the legacy,

Of a grand future.
