WHEN LILLIS BLOOMED

Lillis bloom,

Like love in my eyes,

Your shadow glows in the moon.

Rainy nights,

And one umbrella:

Starlight dancing in your eyes!

Who will know,

That you and I once,

Shared so much just between us.

Cups of tea,

With you at bus stops,

Your beauty was my poetry.

Surprises,

At dusk, in the lawn,

With you gliding on the swing.

Meaningless,

Everything save love,

O, past were eternity!

From this and your many other poems the world knows of your gentle flower. She is lovingly immortalized and that is the beauty of love, and love's poetry and an individual's skill and will to share such moments to preserve them long after the partakers of such events have slipped on through the fabric of the physical world. Always with you and she it shall be that old saying of 'Love Was when I remembered You!' For the world and from your memories treasure troves you captured your delight and served it up fondly for others to sample one small taste at a time. You Sir Poet are a good host for love. Ring your welcome chime whenever you wish and the world shall flock to your door. you know who!.......so why type it?
