Too Young

Your hands shake?

They don't know why,

Hide your scars,

and hide your lies.

beat'n bashed, forgotten, used,

who the hells he trying to prove?

He screamed and said he loves her dearly,

although at night he comes home queerly,

closing the door soft and slow,

fingers crossed she didnt know,

He was with another, beautiful young slave,

she seemed to be lost in her daze.

A few months later, the two girls met,

one swung first, the other bled,

she smiled cause she thinks she one,

pain in her stomach, pool of blood,

she looked up to the others girls face,

starts to cry when she dropped the blade,

boy drove away, the girl one the fight,

what a lovely way to spend the night,

sick to the stomach, screams, no one hears them,

she heard the sirens, they were off in the distance,

what you doin' with your life?

You're to young to die tonight...

Author's Notes/Comments:

I'm in school when i wrote this, just a quick thought. I was listening to lucy spraggan to young, and thought id write a poem that relates. i changed the story a bit because this relates to something i dealt with so closesly.

Truth be told, Dylan, I write

Truth be told, Dylan,

I write everyday,

My thoughts will not punish me,

or woreson my pain,

I live and love,

i get upset and i cry.

But no madder the problem,

I don't want to die <3
