Unconditionally Loved

Your mine

An accepted belief that we have always known

We widely quoted that statement

Kept repeating it over and over again

Unaware of the meanings that brought so much pain

With our selfishness and our need to control

Your mine

We accepted it as a fact

Unaware how other people can react

Looking for a side to blame

Embedding failure or shame

Your mine,

is an illusion we wanted to believe

From fears of Goodbyes it is such a relieve

And when you’re gone

It is such an overwhelming grieve.

If we really in the “Creator” believe

We would had thanked him a million of times

For his precious gift

You’re not really mine,

And I am not really yours

I own my self and you own yours

Love between us is always ours to possess

I need you like a soul needing its’ body-robe to wear

And you need me like the body needing its’ soul to bear

I can own this feeling of love to be mine

And you own your feeling of love to be yours

But I am never really yours

And you are never really mine

Although we can be togather for a lifetime

We both came from the “Above” and to him we will return

You're not a property for anyone to possess

Not even in the name of this love

Cause you are a gift in this life

Unconditionally Loved

Author's Notes/Comments:

I wrote this trying to conceptualize how can love be healthy in relationship.
One can never possess another human being under the name of love, not even your own children
We all came from him. In that concept we believe. From any grieve it is our relieve

I wish more people would realise they shouldn't and couldn't own others
