You always told me that the only thing keeping us apart,
was distance.

You always told me that miles where the only thing standing in,
the way.

You always told me that no matter how far you went you'd always,
come home.

You always told me that no matter how long it took, you'd always,
see me.

You always told me that you where proud of me each and,
every day.

You always told me that you would be my dad for always and never,
go away.

you always told me to stand tall, and fight for what i wanted,
in life.

You always told me that you loved me, and now its my turn to say I love,
you more.
